Our Story

HAS began with skin that never felt comfortable.

Growing up, our founder, Marissa Webb, lived with severe dryness, itching, and inflammation caused by atopic dermatitis. The winter air made it worse. Showers sometimes helped, but most products left skin burning, irritated, or coated in heavy fragrances that made things even more uncomfortable.

Over time, one thing became clear — skin struggling with chronic dryness doesn’t need more complexity. It needs calm, nourishment, and protection. So the journey toward something better began, and HAS was born from that process. Marissa began studying how skin loses moisture, learning which oils truly support the skin barrier, and experimenting with simple formulations designed to soothe rather than overwhelm. What started as small batches made at home for personal relief slowly became something bigger. The formulas were simple, intentional, and deeply moisturizing without unnecessary fragrance or irritation.

Our formulations focus on nourishing plant butters, protective oils, and ingredients chosen for their ability to support moisture retention and calm stressed skin. Nothing unnecessary. Nothing harsh.Just thoughtful care for skin that needs it most.
